I joined a team of UX designers and consultants at Creative HQ.
We led eight organisations from the New Zealand government through a 13 week design sprint.
We partnered with a local dev shop Endgame, working with their developers to determine the backend funcionality of our prototypes.
I worked closely with the Sustainable Business Network team.
I prototyped a questionnaire style web platform allowing businesses to diagnose their sustainability.
“What made Finn great to work with was that he was as passionate as we were about the projects goals.
He created an excellent prototype for our procurement tool, reflecting a complex design brief in both presentation and function.”

Sustainable Business Network
As well as designing products, I was the general designer for the UX team.
I created a variety of prints including VIP invites, name tags, infographics and powerpoints.
We were taught to effectively pitch our ideas to government stakeholders.
On Demo Day of the accelerator our cohort pitched our projects at the national parliament of New Zealand.
The accelerator deepened my understanding of design thinking, challenging me to think strategically about UX problems and to justify my design decisions.
I learned to effectively communicate my designs to team members and non-designer stakeholders.
It showed me that I needed to improve my organization and management skills in a chaotic workplace. I now take more notes during meetings so I can better organize
my work schedule.
